Almost all Arab countries and some other Muslim countries, have systematically directed hostility to Israel over the decades as a convenient scapegoat. It has nothing to do with the suffering of Palestinians (who were treated far worse in Jordan and the Lebanon) and everything to do with crowd manipulation. It touches also on nostalgia for Caliphate days when the Jews stayed in their place. This has created a complete obsession and hate across the Muslim world which is all out of proportion.
