It has nothing to do with the suffering of Palestinians (who were treated far worse in Jordan and the Lebanon) and everything to do with crowd manipulation. If Pales could calm down enough to think, they might not start agreeing with Israel, but they would understand that it is a country of people, not devils, who are in good faith in their belief that they are entitled to the land.
